The Purchasing & Imports Administrator will be responsible for the monitoring the daily freight reports to ensure all arriving shipments are customs cleared / delivered to our DC in a timely manner. S/he will also work on any special reports as required.

What you can expect:

  • Daily - set ship mode (air vs sea) with all points of origin on direct delivery shipments. .
  • Daily - monitor all freight arrivals and update the daily delivery status report with corresponding SAP PO & Invoice #s
  • Daily - replace all commercial invoices on every shipment entering Canada with a SAP invoice. Verify to ensure that the SAP invoice correctly matches the shipment in terms of carton/piece count.
  • Daily - follow up with AG and HBCD for all preferential duty certificates to ensure Canada is benefiting for reduced tariff agreements
  • Daily - monitor multiple preorder seasons for production delays on material level
  • Daily - maintain and update all delivery preorder reports by linking the delivery status reports and SAP invoice reports
  • Daily - code all Kuehne & Nagel freight invoices to relevant cost centers
  • Daily - monitor all low value shipments arriving via courier services and ensure shipment is customs cleared and received into the DC.
  • Bi-weekly - monitor Retail NOS program and update the delivery status report on availability
  • Bi-weekly - Run reports on the status of all preorders for both Retail / Wholesale channels.


Your profile:

  • Post-secondary Education
  • At least 2years' experience in the fashion industry or freight forwarding customs industry
  • SAP Trained
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Familiarity with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
