The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Inventory Management by...
  • Developing the Open-To-Buy for the new season buy/Clearance/PCE/special event for Major Asia Market in collaboration with leadership, Finance, Brand Operations & Buying team.
  • Collaboration with key business partner to manage OTB, re-forecast (SMI/QO) process and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure accurate assumptions to meet inventory goals.
  • Buying- product metrics (AUR, Discount, AUC and etc.) trends, floor set change, delete flow
  • Finance (FP&A) -Topline sales estimates, promotions, key initiatives, business development impacts, etc.
  • Brand Ops - inventory rolling with MFP sales, receipt & transfer plan, target growth rate, write off, other measures through horizons
  • Being able to apply latest info to accurately build or re-forecast the OTB for the following metrics at dept./class level for the required horizon:
  • Sales$ and units
  • WOH
  • AUR/AUC
  • Discount rate/ Gross Margin/IMU
  • Shipments or production and excess
  • Inventory transfers
  • Aged inventory
  • Monitor the key metrics and OTB usage in the buy process and advice the revision for the new topline and key metrics assumptions
  • Being able to generate the Long Range Plan (LRP) for the channel by department and class in collaboration with leadership
  • Facilitate lifecycle & End of Life management, exit strategy, excess review, as well as inventory & capacity planning horizons from an Integrated Business Planning perspective
  • Have a solid understanding of the business trend, inventory situation through solid analysis on KPI measures, and recommend actions on inventory optimization
  • Run Analysis for different events and promotions to provide the insights to improve inventory productivity
  • Build database and develop model & stimulations in excel to assist any ad-hoc business analysis
  • Work with BI & IT to improve merchandise reporting & system enhancement to support merchandising strategies & business growth


The accomplished individual will possess...
  • BA or BS degree in Business Accounting, Economics or Finance.
  • 5-8 years' experience in Inventory Planning, demand planning, business planning, or buying experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills are required;
  • Advanced computer skills in RPAS, SAP is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills to deep dive complex quantitative data and offer proactive solutions.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese.
