Position Overview and Requirements:

The Production Operations Coordinator will assist in the seasonal production process by managing the creation, execution, and follow-up of purchase orders and by ensuring the timely delivery of quality product. This role will be working closely with the director of creative operations and the sales department ensuring that all aspects of the product development and production process run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a positive, high-energy personality, be extremely detailed oriented and autonomous. Able to execute delivery timelines for each project and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

This person will be responsible for:

  • Partner with Design to ensure timely execution of product development calendar
  • Enter and maintain updates for each style in ERP system or shared drives at the development stage of the new collection
  • Perform daily tracking of goods on order, in progress (WIP) and in-transit to ensure timely delivery according to production/design calendar
  • Maintain and distribute production status reports
  • Monitor communication & follow-up with vendors, factories and Design/Merchandising as needed
  • Create, revise, input and maintain production orders into ERP system,
  • Coordinate tracking of all pre-production samples and stock delivery
  • Liaise with Finance team on production invoices payables, and inventory
  • Quality control of incoming production and samples
  • All data entry including but not limited to, invoices, production data, style numbers & work orders in ERP system
  • Inventory control and management - Ensure inventory is received and updated in ERP system in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience within production, preferable for fashion-related company
  • Familiarity knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trims, and print techniques
  • Must have a great attitude and a strong passion for fashion and love to work in fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work at the detail level
  • ERP software experience preferably in Apparel Magic
  • Accurate data entry skills and high attention to detail
  • Must have strong Excel skills utilized within a business setting, experience with pivot tables and v-lookups
  • Candidates should be able to prioritize and maintain a high level of accuracy doing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Eager to take on new challenges, introduce and implement new approaches and ideas, grow, test, and learn
  • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented
