PAPER PLANES is seeking a resourceful and driven sales leader to further our wholesale business development. This is a hands-on position, the Sales Executive is responsible for the day-to-day management of key accounts and specialty stores, and overseeing two sales reps. As the ideal candidate, you will use your sales and relationship acumen to procure strategic new business opportunities while fostering sustainable growth in existing points of distribution. Build strategic sales plans and forecasts at account and door level. Strive to exceed short- and long-term targets through best in class account support and engagement.
Manage order updates, process and planning including order consolidation, order processing, payment processing (Calling accounts for credit card payments) before delivery/shipment.
After markets/seasons provide reports and summaries including but not limited to consolidated sales summary, post market report, merchandising report (one week after each market or trade show), sell-through report at regular/sales price.
Prepare and maintain the NuOrder sales platform.
Prepare sales tools including but not limited to line sheets, wholesale brand guides, etc.
Attend key tradeshows and implement strategy for sales goals.
Create and nurture strong partner relationships through regular communication, providing support and solutions for all customer service needs with a sense of urgency.
Travel to local accounts weekly, regional accounts quarterly to ensure brand standards are being met, share product knowledge updates and information, connect with teams, and gather brand and competitive feedback. Create reports summarizing insights to share with Leadership.
Oversee and monitor the information flow to wholesale partners to ensure Brand representation is accurate and up to date to optimize sales results.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
5 years previous wholesale sales experience with a proven track record of taking personal ownership and develop business with strategic key partners.
Highly energetic self-starter, able to think outside the box and work independently as well as in teams.
Strong strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset.
Confidence and ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders to drive the PAPER PLANE brand forward.
Strong team player but equally comfortable owning projects individually.
Strong computer and IT skills, preferably Gmail Suite / Microsoft Office.
Flexibility is required within this role in order to meet business demands.
Excellent communication skills.
