In order to be prepared for the challenges presented by a digital world in the future, we in Group Finance & Tax aim to adapt dynamically to new circumstances and be open to new ideas. Our job is to ensure the correct application of complex accounting and tax regulations as well as to prepare correct and complete financial statements. Our aim is to ensure financial transparency in the Group. To this end, we develop uniform processes and guidelines for all accounting/tax/treasury topics. We also advise our internal customers on further developing their operational processes and implementing strategic initiatives. We are always striving to actively contribute to the successful implementation of the CLAIM 5 growth strategy.

What you can expect:

  • As part of your area of responsibility, you successfully apply your expertise to accounting-related issues as part of company-wide projects and provide assessments for complex accounting issues
  • You will also play a key role in the preparation of the notes to the consolidated financial statements and coordinate these independently with the interface departments as well as the group auditor
  • In addition, you are the contact person for our globally operating production and sales companies in terms of complex accounting issues as well as for process topics related to the preparation of financial statements
  • You ensure timely and complete reporting for the companies you support. You independently perform analyses and the corresponding quality controls
  • You are also responsible for the monthly execution and plausibility check of complex consolidation and elimination activities, such as the elimination of intercompany profits
  • For the global finance community, you will independently coordinate training sessions and the regular distribution of newsletters on accounting and process topics
  • You contribute significantly to the continuous development and optimization of the closing processes, identifying opportunities to simplify and optimize the process and system landscape. You implement these in close cooperation with our IT teams as part of our SAP S/4 HANA migration strategy
  • The professional development of team members as well as the supervision and coaching of interns rounds out your job profile


Your profile:

  • Successfully completed degree in business administration / economics with specialization in accounting / auditing
  • Multiple years of experience in group accounting / auditing (> 5 years) of an internationally operating and listed group or relevant experience in an auditing company
  • Strong knowledge of accounting according to IAS/IFRS and the preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Strong knowledge of the consolidation software SEM BCS, SAP FI/CO and SAP BIS
  • Your way of working is proactive, solution-oriented and you like to take ownership
  • You have excellent analytical skills, conceptual skills and a high level of customer orientation
  • You can communicate complex accounting issues in a comprehensible and understandable manner, particularly in English
