We are looking for an ambitious Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager to take over the day-to-day operations of the online store and drive it through a period of growth. This is a multi-faceted role involving all aspects of digital commerce, from digital marketing to trading.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the cross-channel digital marketing agency and the reporting on paid digital, striving for the delivery of strong ROAS and ROI

• Responsible for email marketing, both broadcast campaigns and triggered messaging

• Manage the merchandising and content upload of the website

• Lead on all ecommerce performance reporting including marketing

• Own the ecommerce critical path and development plan

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead on the research, preparation and implementation of all ecommerce marketing and development projects both on site and across paid marketing channels

• Work closely with the creative director, PR manager and marketing consultant to ensure timely go-live of all digital assets, integrated campaigns, and promotions

• Plan, manage and deliver, in conjunction with the PR manager and marketing consultant, a marketing and promotions calendar in line with key dates and collection launches to be rolled out across the webstore and social channels.

• Ensure the effective visual merchandising of the webstore based on campaigns and conversion tactics

• Responsible for thorough QA and testing of all projects and content on the webstore

• Build a thorough understanding of the technology ecommerce eco-system – web platform, web apps, ESP, analytics, OMS, WMS – so to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the online store and offer insights for optimisations

• Ensure the preparation and timely upload of new products plus the upload of assets and content to the webstore - preparing the webstore for all relevant marketing campaigns plus weekly merchandising

• Maintain technical quality of the webstore — from site speed to merchandise tagging to ensuring a seamless sitewide customer experience.

• Ensure that SEO guidelines and fundamentals are followed plus assist in the research and development of the SEO strategy

• Work closely with the product team to ensure deliveries are uploaded quickly and efficiently – understanding products and collections thoroughly so to optimise selling opportunities and campaigns

• Monitor the webstore’s performance, highlighting issues but also opportunities for improvements

• Compile and provide weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports on the webstore and customers

• Work closely with the Business Manager to maintain the third-party warehouse fulfilment team relationship, ensuring smooth communication and operations and resolving any escalations in the fulfilment of customer orders

• Manage the customer care executive ensuring all enquiries are responded to in a timely and appropriate manner and be a point of escalation

• Work with the customer care assistant to lead on the development and execution of a clientele program

 

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in ecommerce, ideally with Shopify

• Experience with CRM and email marketing including flows and segmentations, ideally Klaviyo

• Fundamental understanding and experience with SEO

• Intermediate to advance Excel skills

• Proven experience collating, transforming, and analysing data

• Intermediate to advance skills with Google Analytics or equivalent tools

• Basic skills in Photoshop would be greatly beneficial

• Experience within women’s fashion would be beneficial

• Experience project managing and performing the QA on ecommerce development projects

• An understanding of UX principles and a customer-centred approach to tasks
