THE ROLE & THE TEAM
This is an exciting opportunity to join as our Display Media Lead (all genders) within the Media Team with ambitions of being the starting point for fashion and tripling the size of the business (from 10bn EUR to 30bn EUR) by 2025.

Responsible for developing and executing the global programmatic strategy across Zalando's 23 markets, working in close collaboration with Media, Analytics & Market Leads while leading a team of data-driven Programmatic experts.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
  • Be responsible for the growth of awareness & consideration metrics through our global programmatic media campaigns
  • Building Programmatic Expertise in Zalando, and staying ahead of the curve in display and programmatic
  • Lead asset briefing, campaign creation, optimization, automation, testing & reporting. Identify performance gaps & opportunities within the channel
  • Leverage & analyse data to generate interesting insights and formulate hypothesis in non traditional ways
  • Own the strategic roadmap, testing plans and channel learnings (3-6 month plan)
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to influence roadmaps and prioritize projects based on impact & strategy
  • Design and implement extensive incrementality, bidding & creative tests to prove the value of programmatic advertising
  • Leverage multiple types of Display and Video campaigns with fast turnaround times on VOD, CTV, Programmatic, and Display
  • Lead and maintain a community of 4+ programmatic media experts with shared goals, knowledge and best practice
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in display marketing having worked with DSP/SSP vendors, programmatic trading desks, digital marketing agencies, ad networks, and 3rd party data companies
  • In-depth experience in working with the most relevant display programmatic partners (ie Google, Teads)
  • Strategic adtech knowledge and implementation experience of the main components of the Display techstack (ie DSP partners, DCO partners, Brand Safety solutions)
  • Implementation expertise to create best-performing media tactics (ie audience strategies, 1st party data usage, account setup recommendations)
  • Strong experience using product feeds, dynamic ads & automation tools
  • Deep understanding of digital performance marketing metrics, tools & best practices
  • Strong command of analytics & data manipulation tools
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently among multiple strategies and global campaign management
  • Knowledgeable about tracking, attribution models & incrementally testing with the ability to take action based on data-driven recommendations
  • You are a team player and a clear communicator with excellent command of written and spoken English
  • 3+years people managing experience in a high-growth environment
  • You are experienced in managing large budgets and delivering against efficiency targets
