THE ROLE & THE TEAM
This is an exciting opportunity to join as our Senior Media Analytics Manager (all genders) within the Media Team with ambitions of being the starting point for fashion and tripling the size of the business (from 10bn EUR to 30bn EUR) by 2025.

Responsible for developing data driven marketing strategies for Zalando's 23 markets, working in close collaboration with Media, Analytics & Market Leads. You will transform data and segmentations into actionable insights and recommendations that drive strategic decisions while building a deep understanding around the campaign performance and analysing different cohorts.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
  • Lead the measurement and testing framework within Media and in alignment with Media Analytics to drive the testing strategy followed by the Media team
  • Develop and analyse customer segmentations and audiences, support targeting and steering initiatives to drive customer value
  • Collaborate with the Media Analytics Team to optimise and productionalize the segmentations and audience selections.
  • Owning and overseeing the brand and consideration lift studies across display and social channels
  • Reporting of campaigns across VOD, CTV, Programmatic, Display, Social, and Offline Channels such as TV, Radio, OOH, Print
  • Reporting of campaigns across Display(ie Programmatic, CTV, VOD, YouTube) and Social (ie Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, Tik-Tok) along-with offline channels (ie TV, Radio, OOH, Print)
  • Leverage & analyse data to generate interesting insights and formulate hypothesis in non traditional ways
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to influence roadmaps and prioritize A/B Tests based on impact & strategy
  • Design and implement extensive incrementality, bidding & creative tests to prove the value of media
  • Design, conduct and evaluate A/B tests to optimise our segmentations and audiences according to the use case
  • Recommend testing strategies to optimize targeted campaigns, campaign efficiency and ultimately drive brand awareness and consideration
  • Drive data mindset in the team and guide team members in terms of methodology & technology
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
  • Minimum 8 years experience in using customer data in smart and creative ways to answer media questions and/or drive targeting efforts
  • In-depth understanding of media KPIs (ie CTR, VTR, Dwell time) in combination with analytics and business metrics (awareness, consideration, sales) to drive insights from our campaign activations.
  • Experience implementing measurement approaches to track incrementatlity (ie Brand Lift, Conversion Lift, Multi-Cell and Incrementality Studies)
  • Experience with Google, DV360, or Social (Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, Tik Tok) measurement capabilities.
  • Familiar with the most common media and analytics reporting solutions (ie Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Micro-Strategy)
  • Advanced skills in data methodologies (Excel) and technologies (Python, SQL) is desirable
  • Visualisation tools, e.g. MicroStrategy, Excel, and versioning tools, e.g. Git/GitHub, are considered a plus
  • Strong communicator to challenge the status-quo, tell data stories, maximise decision impact of your results
  • Proactive, fast learner, problem solver, teamplayer, comfortable in working in English within a fast paced international work environment
