Rodebjer is looking for a Collections Director
Are you a curious and agile person with one foot in aesthetics and fashion and the other in business and product sales analytics? Are you ready to take on the role of leading our product development & assortment work? If you are the right person for the role, you will be able to analyse internal sales as well as relevant competitor’s offering to secure our assortment portfolio with suitable price range to enable the company’s strategical direction and growth expansion plan.

 

Main responsibilities

As the Collection Director you will hold a key position within the company and be part of the management team, working closely with Creative Director and Founder and reporting directly to CEO. You will lead the design studio with all its different functions and needs as well as work closely with the product team, in direct communication with sales.

The core of your assignment is to identify opportunities, risks and missed potential in our assortment and product offering. As this is a new role in our company, you will lead the work of setting the detailed structure for the role and the work processes as well as collection strategy, assortment planning, pricing & gross margins to secure a relevant and profitable assortment with meticulous product execution.

 

Required profile

You have a high sense of responsibility for actions, project and the people within to make prompt, clear decisions which may involve tough choices or considered risks. You will set and develop assortment and product related strategies to realize organizational goals.

In the everyday workflow, you will plan activities and projects well in advance and take account of possible changing circumstances. You set clearly defined objectives and manages time effectively. To perform, you will identify and organize resources needed to accomplish tasks and monitors performance against deadlines and milestones.

The overall focus of the role is to deliver results, meeting customer expectations and set high standards for quality. You are highly analytical and breaks information into component parts, patterns and relationships to make rational judgments. By keeping up to date with competitor information and market trends, you identify business opportunities continuously. Your financial awareness and cost control is high and thinks in terms of profit, loss and added value.

 

Required experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of expertise
  • Minimum 6-year experience from working with product/assortment in an international fashion environment
