Dundas World are seeking an organised, motivated and personable Management Accountant to join our fast-growing brand. This role reports directly to the CFO and is responsible for all day-to-day bookkeeping on Xero, right through to production of the monthly financial reporting pack. The successful candidate will play an important role in the financial future of the business.



  • Compete Ownership of Monthly Management Accounts production from Xero Responsible for managing the month end timetable, ensuring key deadlines are met Monitoring of Actual Performance versus Budget and preparing variance analysis End to end responsibility for Accounts Payable, including posting invoices, preparing payment runs and reconciling supplier statements End to end management of Accounts Receivable, including posting invoices, matching cash collection, producing customer statements and collecting overdue debt Bank, Paypal, and Credit Card Reconciliations Day-to-day tracking and management of Invoice Financing Facility with Hilldun Manage ad-hoc projects and follow-up with colleagues as required Staff Expenses processing Completion and submission of VAT Returns First point of contact for external payroll bureau Ensure all expenditure across the business is approved in-line by appropriate Senior Management and associated Purchase Order (PO) issued Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other departments including Sales, Operations, and Production Management of the accounting mailbox and general mailbox queries Support CFO and wider business with ad-hoc tasks as required.

  • Previous Management Account experience (preferably in a luxury/fashion/creative environment) Qualified accountant (ACCA, CA, CIMA or International equivalent) Proficiency with Xero Experience with Zedonk considered a plus Administration skills Strong organization Ability to clearly communicate with people across the company Initiative Time-Management Workload Management Discretion and confidentiality Ability to multitask Professional Microsoft Office skills Strong attention to detail Confidence Flexibility Self-Motivated Team-Oriented Persistence
