NGGH++

NGG joined the FARFETCH group in 2019, to leverage the groups innovative and technology focused approach to the luxury fashion industry and to together explore unchartered territories. This approach led NGG to create a spin-off of the group, called NGGH++, that represents a growth accelerator and an incubator of new ideas, brands and businesses. This business will include several new projects in different fields, including a creative hub with specialist functions around sports and sneakers. To build NGGH++ we are looking to hire a brilliant team of experts who are passionate about their job, are curious and open-minded, and are willing to join this new incredible chapter of our journey.

TURATI

Our new office in Via Turati is a strategic hub, and home to all of the NGG staff functions. Turati is where the behind the scenes driving force of NGG is brought to life; this is harmonized with the archive exhibits of brand collaborations found throughout the office

THE ROLE

NGGH++ is looking for a Junior Merchandiser, you will report to the Senior Merchandising Manager and support the sports footwear division by developing the collections to fully address market opportunities while maintaining coherence with the brand image and standards of excellence.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Identify, Analyze and report on market and competitor products, pricing and positioning in the various global markets with a particular focus on Europe
    • Weekly monitoring of sales
    • Support in the development of post sales campaign reports (sell in by region/country/best sellers etc)
    • Support in the preparation of merchandising plans to define new collections and liaise with the Global Design Team on new product specs
    • Participate in sales campaigns and produce all supporting materials and buying tools including but not limited to: KPIs, photos and samples, catalogues, product style codes, exit lists
    • Present collections in GTM/seasonal sales campaigns
    • Support in the development of training manuals and presentations with details product briefs for regional buyers
    • Constant market research and competitor analysis
    • Manage seasonal forecast by item/color for assigned product category
    • Manage and define pricing for assigned product category, ensuring finance margins are met


WHO YOU ARE:

    • 4+ years experience in a similar role preferably in a sports brand or the fashion luxury industry
    • Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Merchandising or similar a Masters is a plus
    • Extensive knowledge on the sports and luxury industry with great product sensitivity
    • Proven experience in qualitative and quantitative research design, analysis, and consumer insights
    • Excellent communications skills both written and in delivering presentations
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
    • Great eye for detail, flexible with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Fluent in English written and spoken, an additional language is a plus
