Position Overview
We have a great opportunity to join our Merchandising Planning team as a Branch Planner. Your role at Ralph Lauren supports the Planning Director, while actively overseeing Branch Analytics and Optimisation across the EMEA stores. Managing detailed store reporting with a focus on optimising space & inventory, providing feedback and proposals to the business to support trade and future buys. The Branch Planning team work in close partnership with Space Planning, Commercial Trading, Creative Services, Inventory & Distribution teams, Buying, Retail Operations, and other key stakeholders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Review weekly trading performance on Key Performance Indicators to identify stock issues / opportunities with emphasis on timely resolution and optimising profit
* Provide actionable branch inventory guidance to allocation & inventory partners
* Support and develop team's central branch reporting process through accurate and timely generation of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual and Adhoc reporting.
* Creating and maintaining reports in excel involving large data sets
* Managing seasonal transition and transfer proposals
* Act as the central hub between Stores & Planning teams, highlighting risks and opportunities to business
* Support with Space and Density analysis, finding opportunities to optimise profit in store base
* Create and Maintain Sale & Promotional Calendar, feeding in relevant insights for Sale Phasing Strategy
* Work with and have regular communication with regional managers on feedback from their region
* Be open & collaborative in all ways of working
* Lead, coach, and develop student placements

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Minimum of 1 or 2 strategic cycles as Senior Assistant Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser (experience in Branch Planning or Distribution is preferable) or equivalent
* Understanding of Branch merchandising principles
* Being dynamic, resilient, and happy to work in a fast-paced environment
* Self-starter; highly motivated and organised
* Strong analytical skills, proven proficiency in retail mathematics
* Attention to detail and able to maintain good accuracy levels
* Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners
* High level of computer literacy, Intermediate/Advanced level excel
* Excellent communication skills
* Creative problem-solver and critical thinker
* Must have desire to review / create efficiencies in processes
