Payroll & Benefits Coordinator (12 month fixed term contract)

Primary Purpose:

We are looking for a bright and energetic Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join our European Payroll team. This role will support with a broad range of admin activities across our multiple European countries and is a great opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in the specialist fields of payroll and total rewards in a fast-paced exciting environment. This person will need an analytical approach with great excel skills in order to help prepare our monthly payroll submission, creating / reviewing reports, completing payroll related documents and managing benefits membership updates.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Payroll & administration to...
  • Act as a designated point of contact for payroll and manage the shared Payroll and Benefits mailboxes replying to queries in a professional and time sensitive manner.
  • Coordinate the collection of monthly time & attendance information (timesheets) from our store population - speaking with Store Managers as needed to clarify information.
  • Liaise with our Finance and 'People Services' department to gather data and calculations for our monthly sales incentives (being processed via payroll).
  • Work closely with the generalist HR team to share /gather information related to the current pay period and validate monthly payroll reports ready for processing.
  • Support with the upload / review of information / status reports held on our Payroll provider's exchange portal - TMF Horizon.
  • Coordinate the monthly benefit updates with our benefit brokers, vendors, and Payroll to ensure employee changes are reflected in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update the dedicated 'Payroll' and 'Benefits Europe' pages on our company's intranet platform (The Loop) to share timely communications relating to these topics.
  • Project work - creating the 2023 payroll schedules and updating as necessary the payroll process maps by country.
  • Work alongside the Total Rewards Analyst to transition benefits admin to our offshore People support team.
  • Managing the tracking and reconciliation of payroll and benefits-related invoices.
  • Support with audits and government surveys to ensure that the pay data being processed via payroll matches the data held within our HRiS system (SAP HR system).
  • General administration and collection of payroll documents i.e. new starter documents.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Payroll to
  • Previous experience working within a Payroll team or HR team with payroll responsibilities.
  • Experience of working with 3rd party payroll providers.
