About the Role

This role will be responsible for supporting end to end quality processes on B2B products, incorporating Oeko-Tex 100 certification. The role will work with a clear objective of managing quality and managing any issues which may arise on fabric throughout production and certification phases. He/She will represent GIS Quality on the B2B business team.

What You'll Do

  • Manages relationship with Oeko-Tex certifying body (Hohenstein)
  • Maintains communication and relationship with mills
  • Works with cross functional team to ensure all necessary requirements are met
  • Build robust communication amongst GIS, B2B team, mills and vendors
  • Leverage on his/her technical knowledge and experience, together with his/her in depth understanding of the strengths and capabilities of suppliers to bring innovation from our suppliers.
  • Participate in assessment of new Fabric Suppliers and new mills onboarding
  • Work with vendors/mills to resolve or trouble-shoot any quality issues called out
  • Provide road map of certification on all new products
  • Liaise with Hohenstein on Oeko-Tex 100 certification process
  • Work with mills/vendors on timing of testing and certification
  • Responsible to coordinate and check all certificates and test reports
  • Supply adhoc information to the cross functional team as required (including test reports, certification status)
  • Work with current supply base for certification process
  • Manage fabric inspection and mill audit process
  • Monitor certification process end to end
