We're a creative family, building copy, data and visual assets for each corner of the FARFETCH Ecommerce Platform. We are dedicated to providing gold standard imagery, content and production services for our partners and creating an engaging on-site experience for our customers.


Our London office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. Our open-plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events


Positioned in our Content Development team within the Creative Operations department, the Head of Ecommerce Creative will lead and manage a varied and highly skilled team of creatives responsible for the strategy, development and evolution of our product imagery and product visuals on the Farfetch.com marketplace.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Content Development - Creative Operations, you will be a critically positioned partner and peer for our Ecommerce Creative Director. Together you will build our ecommerce imagery strategy, lead innovative creative projects, and build out a world-class, global, ecommerce creative team.

The functions within your team will cover styling, photography, digital art, model casting and styling toolkit management. We are looking for a true people leader to shine in this role, guiding and elevating the function to new heights.

Our production studios are based in Portugal, Hong Kong & Brazil and your team will be based between London and Portugal. Frequent travel to Portugal is expected, as is some occasional travel to other studio locations.


    • Manage a team of Styling Editors, Digital Artists, Imagery Development Specialists, Model Casting Agents, Toolkit Managers and Creative Coordinators.
    • Build career paths, development opportunities and performance management framework for our creative teams across Creative Operations
    • Own the ecommerce creative imagery project portfolio and roadmap
    • Partner with our Ecommerce Creative Director to develop a long term ecommerce imagery strategy.
    • Partner with Asset Performance Management & Data Analytics to better understand our customer and take a research & insight driven approach to creative projects
    • Establish best practices, routines and ways of working with internal and external stakeholders
    • Be the ambassador and owner of the quality, fashion authority and brand consistency within our ecommerce product imagery.
    • Support delivery on Concept Testing, Continuous Development & Creative Training
    • Prioritise and validate the creative portfolio, to ensure your team's focus on key business objectives and creative improvements.
    • Be an ambassador for the change, innovation and transformation we want to bring to our ecommerce imagery team


    • An ambitious creative leader within digital retail and fashion, who understands imagery production at scale, and awareness of end to end creative studio processes.
    • Experienced as a creative manager, at a senior level, within an ecommerce environment.
    • Someone with a passion for solving customer problems and developing creative solutions for them.
    • A firm leader, capable of tough negotiations, hard trade offs and prioritisation exercises
    • A brilliant communicator, managing senior stakeholder relationships and team comms with dedication, consistency and clarity.
    • Adaptable, flexible and able to work with both creative and operational profiles alike.
    • An innovator who sees past legacy challenges and perceived blockers in order to make effective change.
    • Someone with proven experience leading, developing and mentoring a creative team
