About the Role

The Global Supply Chain Brand Protection Manager protects the safety, security, and integrity of the Global Supply Chain by initiating and/or managing and leading all merchandise pipeline investigations for assigned Brand Protection Zone(s), including outbound, inbound, in-transit, counterfeit, and trademark infringement investigations. Provides direct investigative oversight or support for international markets as assigned. Mitigates enterprise risk by driving standards and program compliance for assigned Brand Protection Zone(s), recovering inventory, initiating freight claims, employing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective action measures to drive improvement. Liaisons with directors in assigned Brand Protection Zone(s) to include Field AP, Logistics, Transportation, Risk Management, Strategic Sourcing, Inventory Control, Safety, Total Retail Loss, CEC AP, and external freight carrier operations. Acts as the liaison to Transportation and Legal for supply chain investigations. Collaborates with and takes direction from the Director of Brand Protection & Intelligence and/or the Manager of Supply Chain Enablement.

What You'll Do

  • Help maintain a safe crime-free environment for employees and contractors within the supply chain and model company core values; developing trust and respect.
  • Mitigate loss and reduce shortage by conducting either inbound or outbound investigations and in-transit merchandise pipeline investigations, including brand protection and counterfeit merchandise investigations. This may include travel to conduct interviews, surveillance, facility audits, work with law enforcement, and make court appearances.
  • Conduct 3PL facility audits and partner with Transportation to communicate investigative findings to define and implement action plans to drive improvement.
  • Prepare or file freight claims to recover losses and collaborate with Inventory Control Finance.
  • Create and maintain working partnerships with key internal and external business partners, including but not limited to; criminal justice agencies, Transportation, Legal, Logistics, and 3PL.
  • Provide training for key business partners including but not limited to; Stores, Transportation, CECs, and Asset Protection.
  • Provide professional development and guidance for Supply Chain Ambassadors.

Who You Are

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years of related investigative experience.
  • Investigative skills preferred, along with a knowledge of supply chain operations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced computer, inventory management, and & AP systems experience.
  • Skilled at applying data and information from multiple sources to convey ideas, rally support, and influence key goals.
  • Build productive working relationships with both internal and external business partners.
