Junior Merchandiser

The Mission

The Junior Merchandiser will be part of the Merchandising Team and will report to the Head of Collection Merchandising. The main mission of the role is to support the definition of the collection merchandising strategy for the Menswear, Womenswear and the Accessories collections along with the seasonal Special Projects planning.

The Role

• Weekly monitoring of sales providing qualitative comments
• Market and competitor's analysis in terms of product and pricing positioning in the different markets
• Development of post sales campaign reports (such as: sell in by region/country and worldwide - by line, function, best sellers, etc.)
• Analysis of wholesale, retail, ecommerce and platforms sales performances 
• Support in the pricing and markdown strategy definition
• Participation in the organization of the sales campaigns and production of all supporting materials and buying tools 
• Development of training manuals and presentations with detailed product information on each collection for buyers

The Ideal candidate

• 2+ years of experience as merchandising assistant or buying assistant for a fashion brand or within a top tier fashion digital platform
• Degree in Business or Fashion Management
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
• Strong analytical skills
• Passionate, flexible and collaborative team worker
• Organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

The role will be based in our Milan headquarter. Relocation packages for International applicants will be discussed as needed
