Vestiaire Collective is looking for a Logistics Manager to join our team at our Brooklyn, NY warehouse.

About the role 

Vestiaire Collective is developing its business in the US and thanks to the significant growth we're expanding our operations and opening a new facility in the US. The new facility will significantly increase our capabilities to open new services and create even more value to our customers. This will be our regional hub for all Americas flows and will allow us to scale our model significantly.

What you will do
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the inbound/outbound logistics to meet company key performance indicators with a view of continuous improvement - quality level, processing lead time & operating costs
  • Hire, train and develop a high-performing team of direct reports
  • Ensure security is at the highest possible standards. Your team and subcontractors will operate in a safe environment with a specific focus on training, 5S, and ergonomics
  • Create a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback, drive change within the facility, adapt to an everchanging business, and stay focused on the customer experience
  • Be accountable for managing adequate and accurate inventory for inventory and packaging supplies
  • Deploy continuous improvement program to seek for operations excellence and find innovative ways of operating
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams within the Hub to streamline processes and optimize operations
  • Preparation of daily/weekly reports on performance for upper management

Who you are
  • You have developed expertise in Logistics management (managing small to medium-size teams above 5 to 10 people, with ideally 5 years in agile environments like manufacturing production or fast-growing e-commerce companies)
  • You are known for your strong communication and leadership skills.
  • You have demonstrable problem solving and data-driven analytical skills - tableau, SQL, Excel are good friends of yours.
  • You have a passion for ensuring a great customer experience.
  • As a people leader, you are comfortable with the full cycle of talent acquisition as well as with the management of employees' performance and their development.
  • You are comfortable navigating in multicultural environments, with changing priorities, where you can use your good judgment in sometimes stressful situations.
