- The position requires hands on physical testing of all items submitted for lab testing. This included all raw materials (textiles, hardware, leather, etc.) and finished products.
- The position requires computer skill as applicable to report writing, sending and data entry.
- Maintain a safe and organized lab environment.

- Maintain database of test information.
- Maintain tested retains system.
- Login and record all incoming testing items.
- Perform in house testing of raw materials and finished product. Analyze data, write reports and distribute to concerned parties for implementation in new developments.
- File all reports, tested retains and equipment purchasing records, operation manuals and service/warrantee agreements.
- Assist lab team in maintaining equipment including record keeping.
- Maintain a professional and orderly work environment in accordance with the Tapestry Policy.

- 75% assist lab manager as necessary on a daily basis and or as work schedule changes, run test and write reports primarily on ( but not limited to) fashion accessory products and raw materials. Tests included are Compatibility , Cycling Test, Wet Environmental Aging Test,
Crocking, Colorfastness to Water, Colorfastness to Light, Abrasion Resistance , Tensile Strength, CASS , etc. Communicates results to requester.
- 10% maintains lab files.
- 10 % maintains lab equipment and consumables
- 5% coordinates outside testing, primarily regarding Slip Resistance, Water Vapour Permeability and Absorption , etc .

This position contributes to the commercialization of new products by supporting the lab team in the qualif ying of raw material components and finished product.

- Bachelor degree or above
- Prefer prior experience in a lab environment and familiarity with lab testing machines.
- Good computer skills of Microsoft Office, ecVision System, etc.
- Timeline Management Concept.
- English communication in speaking and writing
