In addition to its direct-to-consumer business, DeMellier is stocked in leading department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Matchesfashion, Le Bon Marche and Lane Crawford among others.

The role:

  • Supporting on maintaining the production Critical Path, tracking progress and ensuring key dates are met by all parties involved.
  • Helping to order raw materials and liaising with suppliers to ensure they are delivered on time. Ensuring all new materials are correctly booked in the system and regularly checking there is enough raw material to cover production orders and re-orders. Helping to collect information from suppliers for disclaimer cards. Day-to-day monitoring of the production progress with the factory and resolving issues. Keeping the relevant teams informed of delivery dates and any potential delays. Maintaining the Production and Delivery tracker and leading regular production meetings. Ensuring product data in the system is correct and completed for shipments, exports and invoices prior to exporting the data to our DC. Tracking packaging, and disclaimer cards stocks with the DC and ordering packaging when necessary. Helping to produce the monthly stock reports for finance.
  • Supporting and processing raw materials and creating cost invoices for payment. Following stock shipments from the factory to the DC, informing relevant parties and resolving any delivery issues. Monitoring new bookings of stock in the DC, ensuring they are done accurately and to schedule. Resolving any delivery discrepancies with DC and the factory. Hybrid with the option of working from the office or home.

The ideal Candidate:

  • Based in London.
  • Must be fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • Minimum 2-3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Zedonk or other equivalent systems preferred.
  • Experience with leather accessories or Ready to wear production is a plus.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Strong organisational, time and action management skills.
  • Strong people’s skills to build strong relationships with our factory.
  • Must be self-motivated and a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Willing and able to travel within Europe to visit the factories.
