In addition to its direct-to-consumer business, DeMellier is stocked in leading department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Matchesfashion, Le Bon Marche and Lane Crawford among others.

We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a fast growing company, reporting to the Founder/ Creative Director and the Head of Marketing, and working closely with the E-commerce teams, Wholesale and China teams, you will be:

  • Brand aesthetics

    • Leading all visual output across our marketing channels, ensuring our visual language is in line with our brand DNA.
    • Being a brand guardian for DeMellier, working closely with the Founder & Creative Director to maintain an authentic brand aesthetic.
    • Ensuring all imagery and creative is maintained to a high standard across our online store, including campaign collection shoot imagery and e-commerce imagery, implementing visual merchandising strategy.
    • Overseeing assets for a variety of marketing, PR and business needs such as training packs, marketing decks, presentations etc.
  • Graphic design across platforms
    • Support on graphic design and reviewing weekly email newsletters to ensure they are designed to a high standard and supporting designs for the website blog editorials.
    • Working closely with the E-Comm team to provide the correctly formatted and onbrand images of products and video.
    • Editing and reviewing video & stills ads for paid social campaigns including concept generation, overseeing banners for display ads & affiliate marketing.
    • Overseeing and supporting artwork across organic and paid channels such as newsletters, website, paid social and PPC ads etc.
    • Working closely with the Marketing teams to create high quality content and ensure strong storytelling in alignment with the marketing calendar.
    • Managing and creating printed editorial mini-magazines, overseeing that all print collateral across marketing, wholesale and internal use are maintained to a high standard.
  • Management
    • Manage the 2 members of the creative team on a day-to-day basis, prioritise workload and organise multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Confidently reviewing and signing off your team’s work as well as outsourced projects. Responsible for managing (under the direction of the Creative Director) outsourced teams for seasonal campaign shoots, e-commerce product shoots & still life shoots.
      • Pre-production: liaise with outsourced teams.
      • Post-production: layout development, lookbook, cropping across a variety of platforms.

The ideal candidate:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role either in-house or at an agency, preferably within E-Commerce.
  • Hands-on experience in creating content for key social platforms (Instagram, TikTok).
  • Excellent layout, typography and retouching skills Motion Design and video editing/animation skills.
  • Understanding and experience working with print processes.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign and Premier Pro/After Effects.
  • Not a must but a nice to have: photography skills to help with ad hoc still life photoshoots.
  • Collaborative team player, actively contributing to meetings and creative brainstorming.
  • Demonstrated understanding of social media best practices, and a keen interest in digital trends, platform innovation and new features.
  • Strong organisational skills - able to multitask, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and visual understanding of brand DNA.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, creative work environment, eager to learn and grow .
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Full-time position beginning/mid of October.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
