This can include but not limited to initiating joint ventures with retailers, distribution agents, opening stores and concessions, employing and training sales representatives, project managing designers and innovating new business practices. Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and growth of our brands portfolio wholesale business in UK, Ireland, Europe, Middle East and China.

The role is responsible for developing the wholesale business and strategy for our brands working with major department stores, e-commerce, boutiques, and business to business (special accounts) in the regions. The successful candidate will have at least 7 years’ experience in luxury wholesale with a proven track record in achieving year-on-year growth.

Scope of the role

  • Oversee the domestic (UK) and international (ex-US) sales and distribution channels

  • Develop a plan with accountability on meeting deadlines and revenue targets

  • Hire and train sales managers for retrospective regions

  • Inherit, manage and grow existing wholesale business throughout department stores, boutiques, concept stores, e-commerce, hospitality and designers

  • Current buyer relationships with leading international stores, retailers, boutiques preferred

  • Familiar with design community to hotel, hospitality, real estate, yacht, aviation, interiors

  • Ability to expand network through attending industry events

  • Identify and follow up on new business opportunities within the international market

  • Represent the business and attend new account sales meetings for all brands

  • Visit partners regularly to conduct in-store training and manage continued sell-thru and VM

  • Manage the full sales cycle and account touch points to provide highest client service

  • Report internally consumer trends, upcoming retail initiatives and competitive analysis

  • Translate marketing initiatives into sales opportunities

  • Maintain comprehensive prospect and client profiles in CRM system

  • Collaborate with in-house software developers to automate processes in company system

  • Attend trade fairs and brand presentations both domestically and internationally

  • Establish revenue goals by brand, region, account and salesperson

  • Work with logistics departments to ensure end-to-end stock delivery

  • Support finance department in managing client invoicing

  • Manage travel, expense, marketing and hiring budgets
