POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager, Human Resources - Retail Field, supports the people, management functions and technology that align to the business culture for the Retail Stores. Areas of focus include: Employee relations and performance management of retail associates; Researching, developing and implementing technological system changes to improve business processes; Create and deliver training materials to support system and process changes; Analyzing data to drive decision making; Manage restructures and reduction in force events; Performance management and career development for direct reports; Communications, leadership development, and change management. The Manager Human Resources Retail Field will lead projects that drive strategy and will work collaboratively with brands and business partners toward improved business results and high levels of employee engagement. Oversee all aspects of Human Resources for retail stores. Act as resource to Retail Human Resource Representatives and Retail Field Associates.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
  • Understand PVH Corp, brand characteristics, business strategy, leadership teams, business objectives and priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with divisional business leaders and corporate business partners to improve business results and establish strategies for driving business results and meet HR and business objectives.
  • Align HR and business strategy, and help drive HR functional initiatives.
  • Educate supervisors and managers; monitor management actions and decisions to maintain legal and company policy compliance and values.
  • Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations' issues.
  • Performance Management: coaching managers on performance management issues and processes
  • Training: identify areas that need attention and improvement. Create and deliver training programs as needed.
  • Develop and execute project plans with minimal supervision
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law. Ensure field managers are up to date with changes to any policies. Partner with internal and external legal counsel as needed to ensure compliance and understanding.
  • Deal with complex HR issues, such as harassment and discrimination, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills. Conduct climate surveys to ensure the workplace is free of discriminatory behavior. Work with management to address and resolve issues.
  • Streamline organizational processes
  • Develop metrics to evaluate effectiveness of HR programs, track and report performance.
  • Identify programs and support of compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure HR team members are fully trained in all aspects of their position. Plan for growth and development of the team.
