As part of the Global Visual Merchandise department that designs and services all in-store visual merchandise aspects, Scotch & Soda is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Global Visual Merchandise Team. We are looking for a pragmatic project leader who can define project scopes and put processes in place who will be the gatekeeper of project progress, timelines, and smooth project operation. In this role you report to the Global Visual Merchandise Manager.


Responsibilities:

The Project Manager, responsible for managing the development of in-store presentation tools. From coordinating the creative brief to execution.Serve as the "go-to person” when it comes to visual merchandise store presentation tools, guidelines and materials for retail, franchise, wholesale, and showrooms.Support the Global Visual Merchandise team by identifying and driving the improvement of current ways of working. Management of the global visual calendar, coordinate visual global alignment across retail, franchise, wholesale, and showrooms.

In this role you will:
  • Define the scope of each project, develop schedules, and allocating resources to realize projects from briefing to final rollout.
  • Are responsible for deadlines, creating timelines and cut off dates for project progress and developments in coordination with the creative team.
  • Oversee maintenance of project budget, estimation of costs, ensure cost efficiencies and handle invoice queries.
  • Establish strong cross-functional relationships with different departments (Marketing, Store planning, Buyers, Merchandisers, Operations, Procurement, Legal)
  • Source and build a supplier network. Maintaining a positive partnership with suppliers. Negotiate prices, quality assurance, and ensuring smooth project delivery and rollout.
  • Forecast and stock management of non-consumables (e.g. mannequins, hangers & POS tools). Coordinate final deliveries including shipping and invoices. Follow up on deliveries with usage guidelines and problem-solving unforeseen issues.
  • Keep the team updated as projects progress and seeking to resolve issues before problems arise.
  • Build trust with the creative team through open communication and maintaining a can-do attitude, positive willingness to bring projects to the next level as a team


Skills & Experience Required:

  • 1 - 3 year's experience in project management;
  • Experience within the Fashion Industry preferred;
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, tight deadlines and changing priorities;
  • Needs to be pragmatic;
  • Retail experience is a plus;
  • Expert in Excel;
  • Negotiation skills;
  • Effective and efficient communication skills;
  • Open minded
  • Fluent in English
