The Brand:

Shrimps is a fashion label from London-based designer Hannah Weiland, launched in 2013.

With a background in History of Art and Surface Textile Design, Weiland takes her inspiration from the witticisms of modern art and a playful engagement with pattern and texture.

Shrimps is committed to avoiding discrimination of any kind when hiring, casting and choosing collaborators. Furthermore, we are actively working to improve our diversity of representation in these areas, each season discussing as a team how we can affect genuine, non-tokenistic improvement throughout the business.

Company

Shrimps is a fashion label from London-based designer Hannah Weiland. Starting with one statement faux fur coat, Weiland's design quickly caught the attention of luxury retailers and press and Shrimps the business was born. Weiland is credited with bringing faux fur to the luxury sphere and leading the conversation on cruelty free fashion.

The early success of the brand, coupled with an interest in print, made the growth into ready-to-wear and accessories a natural step, with Shrimps debuting at London Fashion Week in SS15, followed by their first runway show in AW19. The much celebrated pearl Antonia bag was launched in AW17 and continues to be a bestseller for the brand alongside their Shrimp earrings and handmade knitwear.

Shrimps continues to evolve with the recent addition of soft homewares, and the launch of their first capsule bridal collection in 2023.
