Senior Ecommerce Engineer

The Ecommerce Engineer will participate in developing and maintaining the Global Digital Commerce Platform at PVH. Y ou will collaborate with experts in the digital commerce space to develop innovative product solutions. The team is leveraging the best-in-class digital commerce tools, like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and you will have the opportunity to hone you experience with them and help evolve our application of them.

In your role within the Global Commerce Engineering team, you will implement and drive the success of Digital Commerce across all of PVHs brands and across the globe.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Provide Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development expertise for solution design and technical implementation
• Partner with Engineers and Business Solutions teams to implement a scalable global digital eco-system
• Collaborate with cross functional team to determine best path for Salesforce platform implementation
• Follow sound architecture principles, engineering guidelines and coding standards
• Design, code, unit test, and code review iterative improvements to the platform

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

• 3+ years' experience with Digital Commerce ecosystems in the Retail Industry.
• 3+ years' experience in implementing Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C (Demandware). Certification preferred.
• 3+ years' hands-on experience in web technologies including: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, JQuery, web analytics, XML, web services (SOAP/REST), and open source packages/libraries .
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).
• Experience and working knowledge of secure development practices, agile development methodology, server side and client side javascript.
• Experience with Git source control and with collaboration tool such as Teams, JIRA, Confluence.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships with technical and business stakeholders

Education:

B.S . degree in computer science or similar degree or equivalent work experience

Skills:

• Expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C (Demandware)
• Expertise in digital commerce competencies like commerce experience, product and merchandising, checkout and account management, order fulfilment and insights and analytics
• Familiar with digital commerce integrations such as CMS, DAM, PIM, OMS, and ERP, payment gateways, tax engines, fraud, CDN solutions
• Knowledge of multiple development languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML, XML, and JSON, etc.
• Able to create high quality technical documentation including architecture and data flow diagrams.
