POSITION SUMMARY:

The Email Marketing Analyst is part of the regional CRM team and will support APAC markets to develop consumer journeys, communication programs and campaigns.

The Email Marketing Analyst is responsible for the daily execution of marketing and triggered emails and SMS within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will be a technical expert, working closely with CRM team to identify optimization opportunities, business initiatives, drive personalization, track key metrics on an ongoing basis, derive insights from results and share recommendations back to CRM team, the Markets and other key stakeholders.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Email Execution:
  • Execute day-to-day operational tasks to support email & SMS communication programs, from creative setup, journey building, HTML coding to testing/QA and deployment Marketing Automation platform
  • Build and maintain automated, personalized campaigns with dynamic content to drive loyalty and engagement
  • Develop and execute email / SMS campaigns to support promotions, company initiatives and ad hoc campaigns
  • Proactively resolve problems and troubleshoot in order to keep work flow on schedule and escalate conflicts to manager for resolution
  • Responsible for the design and update of responsive email templates, utilizing HTML and CSS to drive targeted content optimized for the user's device
  • Ensure that messages are reader friendly across devices with special emphasis on mobile

Segmentation and audiences:
  • Responsible for the segmentation setup process in the platforms
  • Support in advising on segmentation and audience strategy based on past performance data

Communication Performance
  • Track key engagement metrics (deliverability, opens, clicks, unsubscribes) and report on email campaign results, highlighting successes, trends and opportunities
  • Set up A/B test and learn campaigns (subject line, creative, layout, copy, audiences, etc.) to identify marketing opportunities to drive incremental revenue
  • Share insights and program results and work in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards, email compliance / spam regulations to ensure automation is up to date

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

2-3 years of experience in operationally focused email marketing, preferably in retail / fashion environment

Education:

Bachelor degree in relevant fields required

Skills:
  • Experience handling high volumes of email production: setup and execution of campaigns, inclusive of A/B multivariate testing, triggered messaging and marketing automation
  • Experience with managing email campaigns end-to-end: code email, test email, load list, send email, report metrics
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation best practices. Experience in setting up digital marketing journeys, data-driven contextual campaigns and personalization
  • Skilled in HTML (specifically related to email mobile responsive templates) & SQL languages
  • Passionate about gathering, analyzing and leveraging performance data to both identify optimization and new opportunities for growth.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple cross functional partners including CRM, Marketing, Creative services, and eCom
  • Attention to detail without sacrificing deadlines; the right candidate will be able to juggle several, sometimes conflicting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Comfortable being part of a team that spans different time zones and locations in APAC
  • Coding and email development for Marketing Automation platforms, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud but open to Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
