Position Overview
The Print Design Associate will be artwork focused and able to paint in mixed media in a variety of styles that are in Ralph Lauren aesthetic. They will assist the print team on a daily basis with artwork development. Artist will work in our print studio to create and design artwork for prints in Collection, Polo, Golf and Accessories. HYBRID: 4-5 days per week in office; 3-4 time per month travel to stores; shows 6 x year

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* The Print Design Associate will work mainly with The Design Head to create paintings and artwork for presentation for Collection, Polo, Golf and Accessories. Actively participate in the conceptual development of the print stories and ability to apply seasonal direction.

* Ensure print is designed and aligned with brand sensibility.
* The Print Design Associate will be responsible to keep the paint supplies in our print studio tidy and well stocked.
* The Print Design Associate will help the print team to keep archives well organized

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Highly detail oriented, thorough, accurate and dedicated to seeing a project through on time
* Great work ethic and ability to prioritize projects and manage deadlines
* Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
* Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn
* Strong communication skills
* Must have an eye for detail and be able to clean and refine artwork while keeping the pattern integrity
* Strong art skills and
* Photoshop and Illustrator skills
* Very good understanding of print development Research print inspiration and painting techniques
