The Role:

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator who will support the Marketing and Creative team. This role requires a high level of autonomy and creative thinking, with strong planning and organization skills and attention to details. Based in Los Angeles or New York, the Marketing Coordinator will support the Violet Grey Creative and Brand team and report into the Sr Director of Brand.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • You will organize and own the marketing calendar, the Project Management tool (currently Asana) as well as the coordination of weekly meetings (both internal and external with brands).
    • You will proactively partner with cross-functional teams to support the day-to-day marketing activities.
    • You will coordinate assets for PR, promos, and digital marketing (product images, copy, quotes, etc.), for launches and ongoing campaigns.
    • You will coordinate gifting and seeding campaigns (gift notes, gift shipments) for PR & Marketing.
    • You will support website updates (Homepage changes, content management, etc.) when the web merchandiser needs support.
    • You will document and take notes during key meetings with brands and partners.
    • You will create documents in support of meetings/conference calls, including presentations, reports, and proposals.
    • You will assess inquiries directed to the Sr Director of Brand, determine the proper course of action, and delegate to the appropriate individuals to manage


WHO YOU ARE:

    • You have an understanding of retail and online marketing functions.
    • You have experience within an eCommerce platform.
    • You have experience with analytics and reporting tools (GA).
    • You can build engaging documents (decks, notes...) and articulate and present them to all levels of management.
    • You have excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • You have a strong problem-solving ability, result-driven with a scrappy mindset.
    • You have beauty industry knowledge.
    • You have a deep brand sensibility is required.
