Accounting Team Leader

What you can expect:

• To be able to monitor and control the accounting records accurately and timely according to IFRS and Local tax procedures
• Responsible month-end and financial year closing activities according to deadlines
• Manage the month-end closing processes with Group accounting team
• Performing monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation and preparation of supporting documents
• Support and review of all official declarations like WHT & Corporate Income Tax & Transfer Pricing
• Support preparation and coordination of Audit processes with Independent auditors, External tax consultants and Internal auditors
• Support Cash flow planning & Hedge/Forward transactions
• Support for preparation of financial reports required for internal and global reporting.
• Review and approve monthly reconciliations,
• Take an active role in system improvements and ERP projects
• Manage the projects with Group Business partner

Your profile:

• At least 10-15 years of experience in the field of accounting preferably in a multinational company
• Experience of "Leading an Accounting Team"
• Holding a CPA certificate
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Knowledge of SAP
• Strong team management, development and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, high degree of attention to detail
• Work effectively within the department and across departments
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
