As Head of Logistics Operations you will be responsible for strategic planning and daily operations execution in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, 3PL Management and the Lounge Warehouses in Germany, Poland and Italy. This role will drive projects to increase customer convenience and network resilience with strong focus on quality, performance and costs.

  • Leading a team responsible for Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Service Provider Management and Warehousing divisions
  • Developing strategic concepts, responsibility for reporting and driving innovation through out-of-the-box-thinking
  • Monitoring various KPIs, root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions
  • Accountable for continuous improvements of operational processes to ensure scalability of a growing business and improving the P&L of the logistics operations by finding ways to reduce cost drivers
  • Creating a pleasant working environment in which all team members feel comfortable and can develop according to their areas of expertise; with this in mind, you will take on feedback and development discussions
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field. At least 5 years of professional experience in ecommerce logistics operations and 3+ years of sound experience in disciplinary staff management
  • Distinct organisational and planning talent
  • Problem solving and outstanding diagnostic skills, capable of managing senior stakeholders. Affinity for numbers, feeling very comfortable with analysing operational data and deriving insights and forming conclusions
  • Sound knowledge in the area of process or project management, as well as the ability to prioritise topics in a structured and solution-oriented manner
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English and German); track record of influencing senior leaders and teams to make impactful and potentially controversial decisions
  • Highly independent worker who can work with ambiguity in a fast changing and dynamic environment
