The Team
The Tommy Hilfiger European CTB Merchandising team is seeking a highly motivated and hardworking Merchandiser to join the team at the head office in Amsterdam.

The Position
As Merchandiser, you will be reporting to the Senior Merchandising Manager and you will be overseeing the merchandising of the CTB business for Women & Kids partnering with management to create and execute the merchandise strategies, and collaborating & coordinating with the design and product development teams to create seasonal collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in the creation of seasonal merchandising plans for Tommy Hilfiger CTB and follow through execution

•Assist the merchandise manager on collection building, understand and be fully updated at any stage to liaise on details with product development, design, and supply chain
• Create and maintain seasonal collection management files & systems for all lines

•Take ownership of non-seasonal product offer (Capsules & NOS)

• Own key tasks specific to Market Launch: SMS tracking and processing, collection shoot for iPad, creation of sales tools

• Provide analysis and data for merchandise manager analysis on sell in, sell out and post seasonal

• Create and maintain CTB library of competitor benchmark and market/trend research
• Highlight future opportunities and needs

The Ideal Candidate:

• Min 2-3 years' work experience in merchandising/ buying
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage areas of responsibility independently
• Ability to analyze and summarize data for the Manager in order to identify and address potential business performance issues
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• High numerical and analytical strengths
• Fluent in English - additional languages are a plus
• Excellent organizational and negotiating skills necessary
• Hard-worker, proactive, hands-on mentality, flexible, multitasking, solution oriented, ability to prioritize
