This position is responsible for the execution of our Corporate and Brand-Specific PR Strategies, in addition to all Charitable and Partnership initiatives or similar partnerships for the corporation and the individual brands.

  • Assists in developing a Corporate PR Strategy that dovetails with our Investor Relations messaging to magnify key strategies to consumer audiences.
  • Manages Corporate LinkedIn accounts and aligns regular messaging to overarching corporate strategy.
  • Assists in partnering with Investor Relations to ensure the Corporate FAS website reflects key strategies/stories.
  • Assists in developing and leads and delivers the execution of Brand-specific PR Strategies in support of our key product initiatives by brand.
  • Develops and executes product launch PR strategy & pitching.
  • Manages external PR agency, when applicable.
  • Assists in developing and manages the execution of Charitable and Partnership Strategies.
  • Sets annual press coverage goals and manages the team to maintains clips/analyses documenting delivery against these goals.
  • Manages the PR & Charitable Initiatives budgets.
  • Partners with PR firm to develop and maintain strong relationships with national, regional, and local media contacts.
  • Oversees compilation of credit information for media placements.
  • In partnership with PR, Creative, and Design leadership, reviews monthly product deliveries to determine best items for pitching.
  • Develops, manages, and executes editor gifting and engagement programs.
  • Oversees PR team to deliver sample process with merchants.
  • Oversees the tracking of PR samples between NSSC and media outlets for press requests, look book shoots and press events.
  • Issues weekly recaps on PR coverage to each brand.
  • Assists in promoting and evangelizing PR and Charitable activities internally.
  • Values individuality and the diverse talents of their team. Leads the team by communicatingexpectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.

  • BA/BS Degree Required in Marketing, PR, Communications or similar field strongly preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in Public relations, social media, media, or communications experience
  • Strong writing, media relations, verbal communication and time management skills
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, Windows XP, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizing and planning skills
  • Confidentiality and the ability to manage sensitive information is a priority in this role
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, concordant tasks and projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
