Position Overview
The Analytics DTC Lead will lead a team of analysts and business partners working closely with business stakeholders in the Direct to Consumer space to understand their objectives and identify opportunities for Analytics to solve problems, unlock opportunities and create new insights. This role is highly visible and functions as a liaison between key stakeholders and the Global Analytics team. It requires creative and collaborative working with the wider business and IT to drive initiatives. The Lead will also be an evangelist for effective and consistent analytics practices and promoting better understanding of data and analytics throughout all levels of the organization.The role will lead a team of analysts and business partners to understand the needs of stakeholders across functions and geographies, translate business needs into requirements, create roadmaps of capabilities, prioritize investments and create the business case, measure benefits, and ensure solutions are successfully embedded.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts and business partners. Provide leadership and development for a global team of analyst and business partner resources. Provide optimal team structure to support the needs of global stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Capture requirements and translating to analytics solutions. Understand how analytics will be used to drive action. Move beyond current state to seek optimal end states. Accountable for definition of done in sprint planning. Provide sizing estimates and approach documents to facilitate prioritization and road mapping.
• Overall Business Relationship Manager for DTC Senior Leaders. Be the primary interface for senior business leadership to set priorities, plan initiatives, and identify opportunities. Attend leadership forums to understand business challenges and share analytics opportunities.
• Roadmap Capabilities. Develop roadmaps of capabilities based on thorough understanding of the current state, challenges, and opportunities. Build business alignment to roadmaps. Ensure roadmaps have an appropriate planning horizon to guide investment decisions.
• Prioritize Investments and Create Benefits Case. Partner with finance and business stakeholders to define the investment case for analytics initiatives. Ensure benefits can be measured and that solutions will lead to improved actions and decision making.
• Ensure Solutions are Successful. Accountable for the embedding of new solutions into business processes post deployment. This includes continual measurement of utilization, driving change management with business stakeholders, and ongoing training and education.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Experience in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data management, information systems, information science or a related quantitative field is required.
• Work experience in relevant roles
• Deep Retail Industry knowledge or previous experience working in the business would be a plus.
• Strong experience working with popular data discovery, analytics and BI software tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI and others for semantic-layer-based data discovery would be a plus.
• Strong experience in working with data governance, data quality, and data security teams and specifically and privacy and security officers in moving data pipelines into production with appropriate data quality, governance and security standards and certification.
• Experienced in agile methodologies and capable of applying DevOps and increasingly DataOps principles to data pipelines to improve the communication, integration, reuse and automation of data flows between data managers and consumers across an organization
• Strong experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment.
• Required to be highly creative and collaborative. An ideal candidate would be expected to collaborate with both the business and IT teams to define the business problem, refine the requirements, and design and develop data deliverables accordingly. The successful candidate will also be required to have regular discussions with data consumers on optimally refining the data pipelines developed in nonproduction environments and deploying them in production.
