Job Title:                      International Wholesale Manager

Reports to:                   CEO and Commercial Consultant

Responsible for:           Wholesale Coordinator and Wholesale Assistant/Market Intern

 

The International Wholesale Manager for Hayley Menzies is an entrepreneurial and creative individual responsible for developing long-term value for the brand by leading on the identification and management of new and existing wholesale business opportunities and accounts, while meeting the Business Plan Goals discussed and assigned by the company. He/she is responsible for international distribution through wholesale channels. Responsible for scouting, opening, management, performance, development and operating the International distribution and its growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, independent individual to work alongside the Founder and worldclass Commercial Consultant in developing the Hayley Menzies business and brand globally.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Directors and Financial team to build the wholesale business while maximising conversation rate within a positive Ebitda
  • Manage and drive the Hayley Menzies Wholesale business in UK, Ireland and internationally
  • Identify new markets for business and develop growth strategy including the opening and management of showrooms
  • Identify and secure new accounts across the global distribution and negotiate key floor space and new location with existing partners
  • Set yearly and seasonal sales plans based on goals given by Commercial Consultant and CEO to achieve a growth for business by territory
  • Set budgets by accounts with the aim to exceed targets given ahead of seasonal selling campaign
  • Develop, negotiate and manage agreements/terms with key agents, distributors and major department stores
  • Responsible for the seasonal selling campaing diary and to build and maintain great relationships with all partners
  • Organising and participating in trade shows, sales meetings and international showroom appointments
  • Manage In season reorders target set with the Wholesale Coordinator and any project concerning old season sale and stock management
  • Organise and conduct training sessions for the NDO stores and each wholesale partner with a NDO in place
  • Coordinate sales planning with all of the functional departments of the company, most specifically with Production & Design Team
  • Manage order confirmations and market appointments to meet production deadline needs while executing and coordinating market selling campaign
  • Coordinate with Wholesale Coordinator the weekly, monthly ST% reports and new business opportunites to be shared weekly in the weekly and quarterly managers and directors meetings
  • Deliver monthly and yearly sales & control expenses per direct account working with finance team
  • Managing seasonal deliveries and liase with the warehouse to ensure orders, reorders are on floors in a timely manner, ensuring maximum selling time
  • Communicating delivery window to all clients & agents, providing shipping documents, tracking, managing miships, short deliveries and RTVs
