Why JOOR:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and the fashion and homeware industries to intern for 6 months within our global Business Development team. The role will primarily support our Scandinavian team to categorize and build a healthy pipeline of new business with clean data. The role will also involve strategizing with the Director of Business Development on how to proactively approach some of the world’s most influential brands on a global level. 

What You'll Do:

  • Build structured and segmented lists of brands from the fashion, home and beauty markets and talk directly with decision makers at leading brands 
  • Utilize a variety tools to gather accurate person and contact data on our target companies 
  • Proactively offer suggestions on new markets and potential targets based on territory 
  • Compose and conduct targeted outbound email campaigns with the help and guidance of the global Business Development team 
  • Be prepared to travel to attend trade shows with the rest of the team 
  • Collaborate with the EMEA Business Development Manager on ad-hoc tasks that will help us to drive new business growth 

What We're Looking For:

  • Fluency in either Swedish or Danish 
  • A genuine interest in the retail and fashion industry
  • Exceptional communication skills, including an excellent phone manner as we’ll aim to have you frequently talking to clients 
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English 
  • Good with excel
