Reporting to the Store Director, the Team Leader - Operations will effectively oversee all aspects of Back of House. Leading a team of Operations Coordinators and Executives that are responsible for Merchandise, Facilities, After Sales client service and logistics to achieve Operational Excellence, Sales Achievement and Client Experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Leading security operations, managing store facilities and all store systems, ensuring compliance across Work Health Safey practices
  • Managing store administration and ensuring operational excellence through effective rostering procedures
  • Overseeing shipping, replenishment of merchandise/stock levels to maximise sales opportunities ( including stock control, cycle count accuracy, shrinkage and ensuring appropriate assortment and model stock levels)
  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of Client services relating to customer repairs, servicing orders, and any post sale offerings, phone enquiries, stock availability and any other post sale offerings
  • Oversee all receiving and shipping functions, including liaising with transportation, freight forwarders, Australian Customs, clearing/customs agents etc. to ensure local compliance.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Prior management or project management experience, preferably within the retail and/or luxury retail industry or relevant client related experience (3 - 5 Years min)
  • Proven ability to manage in store operations whilst considering profitability and operational efficiencies (3 years min)
  • Proven experience in managing client services teams and after sales programs, with a strong problem solving ability
  • Strong analytical skills and IT skills, including proficiency with JD Edwards, POS and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with p roven multi-tasking experience with an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Dynamic, attentive and inspiring leader who builds relationships with internal and external clients
  • Gemology Certificate/Diploma preferred.
