About the Role

•Support the Director of Industrial Engineering in executing Manufacturing Excellence strategy, particularly in enhancing vendors' engineering capability, lean manufacturing implementation, to achieve efficiency and quality improvement and SMV reduction towards smart manufacturing.
•Collaborates with partnered factories' engineering and project team to coach, develop and lead IE projects, measure and review performance, to ensure develop and leverage best manufacturing practices in 5Ms and maximize overall factory efficiencies leading to consistent high-quality standards.
• As a subject matter expert/internal lean consultant to develop, execute, maintain and review engineering enhancement program, standard and metrics to ensure best-in-class model are being set.
•Able to regularly update and communicate with different stakeholders with reports and presentation.

What You'll Do

  • Able to develop, train and coach, facilitate and coach targeted vendors engine.
  • Overseeing progress of improvement initiatives and projects, provide on-the-ground coaching and support with the right resource, tools and methodology, resolve issues, review analysis, leverage knowledge and experience across stakeholders.
  • Leverage IE knowledge and experience through develop and maintain best practice lean and Industrial engineering.
  • Execute, maintain and review ECE program to enable vendors to achieve target.
  • Develop and maintain best-in-class IE standards through partnering with external parties.
  • Facilitate engineering project scoping, setup routine to review implementation progress and target.
  • Communicate effectively with different stakeholders on purpose, requirements, progress update, escalate and report regular update progress and performance to Industrial Engineering director and involved stakeholders.
  • Continue partnering with lean and automation counterparts for best-in-class available technology and practices.

Who You Are

  • Integral part of Industrial engineering team but maintain a professional/educational relationship to influence and coach partnered vendors to adopt industrial engineering and lean manufacturing methodology.
  • Work collaboratively with different internal and external stakeholders to identify, drive, monitor and leverage improvement opportunities.
  • Champion to coach and mentor regional lean team and vendor project team, able to identify wastes and opportunity in improving manufacturing performance, applying right engineering, lean and automation.
  • Facilitate kaizen events for sustainable results.
  • Introduce and maintain right resources or platform for engineering training, execution, best practices sharing, key KPI monitoring and project monitoring.
