Position Overview:

The Analyst, Global Trade & Logistics is part of the Tiffany Global Trade & Logistics (GTL) organization. This role requires the deft combination of both customs and logistics knowledge to meet the wider Tiffany business goal of becoming the next generation luxury jeweler. The Analyst assists the Americas Business Director with balancing the compliance , cost and speed of shipments moving in and out of the following business locations in US and Canada, and South America.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Effectively maintain and coordinate daily outgoing shipments according to Jewelry /high end industry and company guidelines with forwarders and internal partners
  • Coordinate with Internal Department and the DC ‘s for shipments and verify outgoing shipments for accuracy
  • Lead and develop strategic business initiatives by identifying efficiency opportunities, providing analytical expertise, and supporting data driven decisions throughout the supply chain in the Americas
  • Maintain various industry benchmarking metrics to analyze the health of the supply chain and leverage information to implement best practices including new supply chain solutions
  • KPI by carrier.
  • Manage domestic and international transportation provider relationships and any IT upgrades
  • Follow up with requests from our retail partners - ensure proper customer service and guidance when needed is claims, service failures, assisting with events
  • Update SOP ‘s with Retail partners with approval from the GLT Director of the Americas
  • Daily, weekly reporting needed by carrier to ensure deliveries and shared with Retail teams
  • Work cross-functionally with the supply chain team (trade compliance, sales, distribution, procurement, planning and forecasting) on projects and improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent experience in a related field
  • 4-6 years' experience in global logistics transportation for some Customs, (Inco terms) air, ocean and trucking a plus but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office applications - Word, exceled Power Query Excel and PowerPoint
  • Positive attitude, personable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Competencies

  • A hands-on self-starter who is comfortable with fast turnarounds and tight timelines
  • A proactive and collaborative approach - you love working with people and people love working with you
