The Pelham Diamond Division concentrates on improving our diamond expertise, high level customer service and strengthening of our internal processes. Tiffany diamonds are sourced with care and consideration. From the moment diamonds are unearthed as rough stones and throughout their journey to polished gemstones, we believe the diamond sector can contribute positive value to the communities it operates within. Over the past 15 years, we have implemented strategy that gives us a strong chain-of-custody process for our diamonds, in part because we have direct oversight of our diamond cutting and polishing workshops.

Responsibilities:

The Diamond Supply Specialist is responsible for supporting the Diamond Supply Coordinator in the daily distribution of work for diamond supply. This role will support inventory control of diamond assets including inventory adjustments and demand availability analysis. This role will also support compliance and process improvement initiatives in addition to providing support to FG supplier initiatives.

Diamond Supply
  • Support the coordination of daily diamond supply of serialized and melee diamonds ensuring timely creation of reports to drive distribution of picklists for daily/weekly fulfillment requirements.
  • Support Diamond Supply Coordinator by running weekly/monthly/annual productivity reports to evaluate diamond supply progress towards goals. Evaluate diamond availability for released WO's.
  • Utilize JD Edwards to process I8 and I4 transactions as needed. Ensure transactions are completed and submitted to Finance timely and in compliance with CODC/SOX guidelines. Maintain transaction documentation as it pertains to the Record Retention Policy.
  • Perform WO maintenance to support issues related to WO supply including, but not limited to cancelled WO's, line reductions and *OPS requests. Partner with oversite team to support staff to troubleshoot transaction errors, coordinate with necessary business partners to resolve such timely.

Training
  • Support diamond supply training initiatives for new and existing employees.
  • Regularly review SOP documentation to ensure that it is accurately updated and distributed to reflect ongoing process enhancements.

Cycle Counting & Compliance
  • Partner with Diamond Supply oversight team to schedule and execute daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycle counts confirming accuracy according to location on hand totals.
  • Support variance research and report any discrepancies to management immediately. Document risk within inventory management processes and identify opportunities for improvement where necessary.
  • Manage and gather documentation as requested form Internal Audit, External Audit, and Finance to validate process compliance
  • Support compliance requirements for Sarbanes-Oxley reporting, CODC, and Audit.

Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with the Diamond Supply team to build a culture of continuous improvement within TGL.
  • As requested by Management, assist with various projects and tasks associated with Diamond Division initiatives.

Health, Safety and Corporate Policy Adherence
  • Work safely always by consistently following safe work procedures for your role, as well as all safety procedures required at your worksite. Demonstrate leadership by leading safety process checks & improvement projects in coordination with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance for Sarbanes-Oxley reporting, audit driven Initiatives, key safety accountabilities and the Business Conduct policy.

Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with management
  • Comfortable speaking & presenting in front of both management & peers
  • Must be creative, analytical and demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills and advanced experience using MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with JDE Software
  • Knowledge with Tiffany business practices
  • Experience in excel with VBA & Macro reports
  • 1-2 years' experience in Operations
  • Experience working in an environment that practices Six Sigma/Lean concepts
