The Sr. Allocator, Department Stores & License Goodsis responsible for distribution and in-season management of HUGO BOSS goods in concession shops. This includes initial allocation and replenishment flow of inventory for the appropriate balance of sales & inventory levels through end of life cycle. Understands the relationship of merchandise assortment planning and allocations needed to meet target financial plans and profitability. Oversee daily allocation workload and training for interns. Collaborates with licensed vendors and global contacts to manage full product lifecycle and master data for licensed goods business.

What you can expect:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following

In-Season:
  • Distributes merchandise to concession shops at style | color | size | fit | price level based on business trends, reporting analysis and management objectives.
  • Prepare, recommend and communicate weekly product performance from BIS merchandise selling and delivery reports, to understand any shifts in business and react accordingly. Shift product on a style level between DOS & concessions. Presents key findings to management.
  • Monitor sales and update management on timely replenishment strategy for all seasonal, and key item programs through full product lifecycle - initial delivery, consolidation, replenishment & buyback
  • Own Seamless and timely transition of master data to concession partners prior to allocation
  • Identify seasonal marketing needs; track and allocate goods according to plan
  • Provide adhoc product suggestions for marketing, site rankings, mailers and events
  • Partner with Buying on seasonal PK and Buybooks
  • New Store inventory set ups and tracking
  • Communicates directly with stores to troubleshoot consumer needs, special orders, pricing issues and stock inquiries.
  • Misc adhoc projects as needed


Pre-Season:
  • Conduct seasonal analysis on style, color, size, fit and price level selling specific to each department store
  • Responsible for sizing of assortment sheets and contract entry in Market
  • Partner with planning on historical sku & cluster performance and receipts by channel to create buy strategy for upcoming season


Licensed Goods:
  • Creates 6 month rolling forecast by SPG
  • Develop and pull style selling reports; Recap findings and actions on consolidations, re-orders and strategy for seasonal buys
  • Establish quarterly hindsight meetings and recaps
  • Own timely Master Data set up in SAP
  • Build relationships with external licensed teams and global contacts


System Technology:
  • Utilizes SAP Merchandising Systems: BIS Reporting, Initial Allocation and Markdown Promotion Tools
  • Utilizes SAP | AFS for merchandise inquiry management


Your profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 1-3 years retail experience.
  • Previous Allocation experience a must
  • Previous concession or licensed experience a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Excel & Systems operation
  • Adapts to shifts in business environment
  • Fashion, Product & Trend Awareness
  • Oral and written communication
  • Detail oriented
  • Self-motivated
