About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for executing testing standards, guidelines and training materials for new and current processes and monitor/conduct capability evaluations to ensure the company's quality and product safety goals are met. You will be required to work with a clear objective of improving overall fabric and product quality as measured through test reports, quality metrics, correlation reports and random audit results. You will be required to have sound knowledge of product (including trims, fabrics and apparel) and product development and should be able to coordinate and guide other team members. You should have a background of sourcing trims & fabrics and suggesting alternatives.

What You'll Do

  • Support to drive vendor's performance improvement and establish bulk production testing guardrails with vendor community
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge on raw materials and end products and testing and should be able to hold risk assessment and mitigation meetings
  • Experience working with spec charts and fits and ability to guide the style in fabric basis
  • Ability to lead in giving fabric confirmation for final product sustainability
  • Identify any potential quality, product safety and regulatory concerns before style adoption
  • Well versed with fabric and garment testing processes and reports
  • Support in market quality & product safety issue callouts and work with Quality Assurance team/vendors to implement the root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address continuous improvement with vendors
  • Should be able to provide risk assessment, mitigation, and improvement plans for raw materials, fabrics and garments
  • Monitor 3rd party lab testing turnaround time and performance and liaise with 3rd party labs to ensure testing protocols are followed
  • Ability to review and approve Bulk Fabric and Garment Package Test (GPT)reports.
  • Ability to communicate difficult concepts in a simple manner
  • Participate in projects and assignments of diverse scope
