Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

JOB PURPOSE

The individual will assist in driving the execution of financial plans for Korea including effective financial management, business performance evaluation, financial analysis, and timely regional reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare financial and management reporting, streamline management reporting
• Provide financial analysis and commentary.
• Budget Planning on a quarterly/yearly basis to forecast business plans and drivers accurately
• Perform data uploads of budgets & forecasts in SAP, group systems
• Lead the preparation of presentation materials
• Develop, streamline and enhance forecasting & planning processes(Finance Project experience is a plus)
• Participate in the implementation and improvement of processes and controls within the Finance function as well as across departments
• Work closely with Corporate, and local Finance teams as well as each function, to consolidate, analyze, and report actual results as well as budget & forecasts
• Prepare ad-hoc operational & sensitivity analysis/evaluation on an ad hoc basis
• Retail finance experience is a plus
• Inventory forecasting experience is a plus

PERSONAL PROFILE

• BA degree majored in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management
• 7-10 Years of Accounting & finance experience in sizeable organizations, preferably within retail, luxury, and FMCG environment
• Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with various levels within the organization and cross-functions
• Excellent analytical skills with a good understanding of business processes and the ability to interpret complex information
• Self-starter, organized, motivated, ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Ability to be flexible and prioritize tasks as fit
• Team-focused attitude with a strong ability to drive results through multiple teams
• Proven financial expertise, with a strong commercial base and a solid understanding of financial accounting principles and best practice
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel (SAP experience preferred)
• Strong presentation skills, along with the ability to influence across the Business including Senior Management
• Logical thinking, Meticulous and attentive to details, Communicative and possess strong initiative, Able to work under pressure
• Qualified accountant (CPA / ACCA / equivalent) preferred
