The Director, Global Talent Management will set and implement the strategies that engage and develop our employees globally. In partnership with regional talent development teams, human resources and our business leaders, this individual will understand the needs of the business, provide recommendations, and ensure the Talent Management vision aligns with those needs. This role is accountable for identifying and championing the talent required in the organization to sustain and promote strategic objectives of the future!

Location: This position in in-person at our Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY with an optional hybrid schedule.

Talent Management:
  • Elevating people and organizational capabilities through collaboration with regional talent teams, local HR and the business units seeking to improve growth and cultivate innovation to support company goals.
  • Being responsible for the LVMH Group performance development processes & strategies and collaborate closely with HR and business leaders to build consistent action plans. Partner with HRBPs & business units to roll out campaigns, train on the tools and assess critical metrics. Act as the LVMH Group champion for the Maison!
  • Leading the organization through talent management processes including succession management, bench strength analysis and identification of key positions ensuring that bias mitigation best practices are imbedded in all talent processes.
  • OMR (Organization Management Review): working with the VP Talent and Global CHRO to own the annual LVMH review of critical talents, work on succession planning for key positions, and conduct career reviews.
  • Championing talent mobility through close partnerships with Talent Acquisition (e.g. Employee Career Program strategy) and Global Learning and Development for leadership learning opportunities.
  • Handling employee surveys (new hire onboarding, exit and ad hoc) and related responsibilities, including utilization of talent systems and talent data in close partnership with HRIS.
  • Aligning and integrating internal program offerings with LVMH and Leadership Development and support the development of eligibility criteria and nomination processes.


Talent Champion:

Know The Talent:
  • Identifying company key positions and internal employees approved for mobility. Ensuring utilization of bias mitigation standard processes and accountability for achieving representation goals.
  • Regularly meeting with talent to have meaningful engagement conversations and ensure alignment of aspirations to the business needs.
  • Regularly participating in LVMH meetings and engagements to keep current on global talent trends and internal candidates throughout the Group and other Maisons.

Know the Business:
  • Regularly visiting Tiffany retail, corporate and craft locations.
  • Connecting with stores regularly and working closely with leadership to understand key objectives, talent opportunities/gaps and make recommendations to elevate talent and performance within the organization.
  • Staying current on both talent strategies and industry/competitor activities.


Diversity, Equity & Inclusion:
  • Acting as a champion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in all talent and organizational processes. Ensure DEI is considered across organization needs and changes.
  • Ensure DEI practices are embedded throughout all of our talent management strategies and activations.

Required Qualifications:
  • 8-10+ years HR related experiences in Talent Management, HR Business Partnership
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Passionate about delivering excellence
  • Demonstrated experience setting Talent strategies that are aligned to strategic objectives
  • Experience crafting internal talent networks required
  • Proven ability to demonstrate influence and champion for change
  • Must demonstrate intellectual curiosity, global approach and equanimity
  • Continuous improvement mentality with the agility to shift priorities as the needs of the business evolve
  • Appreciation of retail / luxury

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in retail / luxury, strongly preferred

The hiring range for this position ranges from $154,445 - $218,040. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience. Management is also eligible for bonus.
