You will project manage the successful delivery of the Burberry Supply Chain Leather Goods Strategy, improving the agility, effectiveness and performance of the Burberry business.

You will own and drive effective delivery of Leather Goods Supply Chain Strategy by engaging stakeholders based in HO & HQ to form a team, connecting needs, shaping plans, managing delivery, cultivating enthusiasm, communicating progress, identifying and managing issues, verifying results and transitioning the project into business as usual.


  • Supporting the development of long-term category strategy
  • Aligning departmental goals, processes and resource allocation with the category strategy
  • Presenting findings, projections and recommended actions
  • Supporting and guiding senior executive decision-making processes
  • Define project plans; progress monitoring and reporting
  • Coordinate and project manage local team to ensure successful delivery of the supply chain growth strategy for the category
  • Ensure milestones achievement, removing roadblocks, identifying risks/issues and proposing mitigation actions / escalating where appropriate
  • Manage projects communication; obtain senior stakeholders buy-in across functions
  • Own and create project deliverables and documentation (incl. workshop preparations, decision templates, executive summaries, etc.)
  • Assess impact of changes to business processes and systems as needed


  • Good knowledge of Fashion & Luxury Industry, with full understanding of Fashion Value Chain / Supply Chain & main drivers (focus on Leather Goods)
  • Working knowledge of the upstream Supply Chain (i.e. Raw Material Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Supply Planning, etc.)
  • Previous experience in implementing change in big programme delivery in a Fashion & Luxury environment highly advantageous
  • Previous experience in corporate & strategic consultancy advantageous
  • Excellent MS Office skills (PowerPoint & Excel advanced)
  • Fluent in English; Fluent in Italian highly desirable
  • Good project management skills to manage & execute transformation and enable change; ability to tailor approach based on stakeholders and cultural differences
  • Analytical; able to collect, analyse data and provide insights. Able to find information, interpret requests and get things done with limited step by-step instructions
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to prepare and conduct cross-functional meetings independently and guide discussions
