POSITION SUMMARY:

The Integration Solution Architect is a new role that will assist with implementation of Tapestry's integration solutions, assist in building out an industry-leading Integration function, and drive the adoption of next-gen, flexible architecture to enable end-to-end business solutions. The primary objective of this role is to help Tapestry's develop deep and broad usage of Middleware technologies, especially for the projects in Asia. Tapestry seeks a hands-on Middleware technologist who can elevate the technology landscape to the next level in a rapidly changing environment.

The Integration Solution Architect should have hands-on Integration technical architecture experience and be able to work on flexible hours across regions to support urgent issues. We seek a results oriented person who is passionate about leveraging API technologies to transform the retail apparel industry. The successful candidate will have proven experience in successfully implementation of large scale API solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
  • Collaborate with global team on Integration design/best practices for various integration programs and projects
  • Capable on partnering with offshore team in India.
  • Comfortable working under supervisory guidance of global technical team and local business team;
  • Engage and guide technologists i.e. Developers, Architects on the entire SDLC phases - Design, Development and Deployment.
  • Define & evangelize best-practice integration patterns across applications
  • Drive integration-specific aspects of enterprise and solution architectures
  • Partner with other architects to enable integration strategy & standardize/modernize integration across the enterprise
  • Lead integration experiments (e.g. POCs, prototypes, pilots)
  • Provide oversight to 3rd party vendors involved in end-to-end integration

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:
  • Around 3 years' experience on integration and architecting solutions
  • Demonstrated experiences designing services integrations with IBM Integration Stack (Ace / Data power / API Connect)
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to influence key technical & non-technical stakeholders; organizationally savvy
  • Analytical capability to optimize existing solutions
  • Hands on experience with Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) platforms is plus
  • Cloud Pak for Integration. Experience with Mulesoft a plus as we are evaluating future road map for iPaas.
  • Deep knowledge of integration patterns, methods and technologies e.g. APIs (REST, SOAP etc.), SOA, BPM, ESB, EDI, ETL, message-oriented middleware, event-driven integration, micro-services
  • Deep hand-on large scale implementation experience with API Platform
  • Experience with API development and managing a full lifecycle API development platform
  • Demonstrated experience with High-Availability, Fault-Tolerance, Performance Testing and Tuning parameters
  • Experience with On-premise/ Cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments/configurations and definition/evangelism of best practices/standards. Experience with MUnit, Maven and Jenkins
  • Experience with ETLs esp. Informatica preferred
  • Experience with Streaming platform e.g. Kafka is good to have

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline; retail/consumer experience preferred
  • Graduate degree is preferred.

Skills:
  • Deep knowledge and skilled in at least one Java based Middleware platforms preferably IBM Integration stack
  • Skilled in CI/ CD, Cloud integrations, Network and Security
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, shift priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously while working towards agreed upon goals and target dates
  • Ability to anticipate, identify and escalate issues that may impede deliverables or introduce risk and enforce root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills
  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Mandarin and English language skill are both required.
