THE ROLE & THE TEAM
This is an exciting opportunity to join as our Senior Digital Media Analyst (all genders) within the Media Team with ambitions of being the starting point for fashion and tripling the size of the business (from 10bn EUR to 30bn EUR) by 2025.

Responsible for developing data driven optimization strategies for Zalando's 23 markets, working in close collaboration with Media, Analytics & Market Leads. You will transform data and segmentations into actionable insights and recommendations that drive strategic decisions while building a deep understanding around the campaign performance.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
  • Lead the testing strategy and analysis within the media team in alignment with the measurement framework in place
  • Recommend testing strategies to optimise targeted campaigns, designing and implementing extensive incrementality, bidding & creative tests (through eg. brand lift studies} to prove the value of media
  • Drive daily reporting for ongoing campaigns using dashboard solutions and reporting tools (eg. MicroStrategy, Tableau, SQL)
  • Monitor and steer campaign efficiency to ultimately drive brand awareness and consideration
  • Develop and analyse customer segmentations and audiences to drive learnings around optimal targeting
  • Work closely with the Media Analytics Team to generate cross-campaign insights and to influence future investment decisions
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders (eg. Marketing, Design, Content) to influence roadmaps and prioritise testing based on impact & strategy
  • Drive data mindset in the team and guide team members in terms of methodology & technology
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
  • Minimum 5 years experience in analysing digital media performance amd driving testing strategies to generate insights and recommendation to present to upper management
  • In-depth understanding of the brand marketing digital media landscape including related KPIs along the consumer funnel
  • Able to independently implement measurement approaches to track incrementality (ie Brand Lift, Conversion Lift, Multi-Cell and Incrementality Studies)
  • Experience with Google, DV360, or Social (Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, Tik Tok) measurement capabilities
  • Advanced in using the most common visualisation and reporting solutions (eg.Microstrategy, Tableau, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio)
  • Intermediate knowledge of programming languages (such as SQL, Python)
  • Strong communicator to challenge the status-quo, tell data stories, maximise decision impact of your results
  • Proactive, fast learner, problem solver, team player, comfortable in working in English within a fast paced international work environment
