About the role

Assistant Team Leader F/M/D

Vestiaire Collective is looking for an Assistant Team Leader, in order to support our growth. Within our Crawley warehouse the Assistant Team Leader is the relay between the Quality control team and Authentication team and the team leader. He/she ensures that the processes are respected as well as assuring the organization and the smooth running of the service during the absence of the TL. He/She reports the problems to the team leader and ensures a fluid exchange between the services.This is a full-time permanent role based in Crawley reporting to the Quality Control and Authentication Team Leader.

What you'll be doing

Expertise :
  • Be able to control quality (clothing, leather goods, jewelry, watches)
  • Be able to decide an expertise in case of doubts of the team
  • Monitor KPIs for Authentication & QC, tracking the team performance and anomalies and set up action plan to improve the processes
  • Participate in defining new processes
  • FIFO: lost product tracking, compliance with processing times
  • Know the business of other services


Animation of the team:
  • Team Communication/Follow-up
  • Ensuring the well-being of the team, collaborate with the workplace experience team
  • Support and develop employees to improve their skills and performance
  • Integrate, train and transmit processes to new employees
  • Communication with other services
  • Relay information within the team and department


Administrative:
  • Team attendance check, production, side of the teams
  • Ordering equipment: office automation and technical
  • Processing of customer complaints and emails
  • Contribute to the drafting of the service's processes
  • Collaboration with Customer Service


Training:
  • Animation of the training courses of the team and management
  • Analysis of causes/reason for return, identify training needs and report them to team leader
  • Refresh on procedures every quarter
  • Keep updated of the latest/fashion news
  • Contribute to the Vestiaire Academy : follow the creation of documents, training plan


Who you are:
  • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in a fast paced retail environment
  • A good understanding and track record in managing and influencing KPIs and business performance
  • Great knowledge of the fashion or textile industry
  • Can demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with technology
  • Be able to work under pressure and a consistent ‘can do, never give up' attitude
  • Being proactive with great problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
