Responsible for leading and organizing the creation and delivery of exceptional, innovative retail and eCommerce selling environments|activations. This individual is responsible for partnering with the Vice President, Brand to lead conceptual design development through a creative approach, design process, project reviews, project communications, quality and design control, scheduling, and project reporting.

The Vice President, Creative must be creative and with proven project management ability, detail oriented and demonstrate aesthetic to design concepts within the Fashion Nova vision and standards.

  • As our creative leader, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and partner with stakeholders to evolve and scale the brand
  • Reporting to the CMO, this role will have a strong background in the digital space, with deep experience working and managing content, graphics, and photography|video teams for successful fashion eCommerce businesses
  • They will have a strong and consistent creative vision grounded in storytelling, but will also be flexible in their approach, finding a balance between inspiring campaigns that enhance the brand and direct-response content that fuels the business
  • A commitment to collaboration and shared development of projects and initiatives is key for this role, as Fashion Nova is a deeply cross-functional organization where teamwork and feedback loops are critical to the process
  • You'll be an expert in editorial photography, an innovative video storyteller and have a clear perspective on graphic design, copywriting|messaging and creative trends in our print and digital environments
  • Own the day-to-day management and execution of creative initiatives, working closely with the Vice President, Brand to build creative campaigns
  • Develop and execute seasonal and monthly creative campaigns aligned with pre-determined product stories that build brand awareness while driving traffic and hitting key KPI and revenue targets
  • Work with the Vice President, Brand to hone and articulate visual identity and tone of the brand, creating standards and processes to ensure consistency in the look and feel of all brand creative implemented across all touch points
  • Articulate story telling through the creative direction of seasonal + macro photography, styling and design of all brand and marketing materials including but not limited to, creative campaigns, editorial campaigns, video content, social content, marketing and email communications, online imagery, direct marketing pieces, product packaging and more.
  • Direct creative and photo studio teams to ensure creative vision is maintained across all touch points while delivering high quality materials accurately and on time
  • Manage communication of approvals and routing of deliverables to key stakeholders and key approvers

Scientist - Executing the brand strategy through digital channels - constantly experimenting to ensure the best outcomes are achieved.

Creative - Working with the marketing team and agencies to ensure the brand vision comes to life through engaging and creative messaging, across all forms of media.

  • BA|BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field - MBA preferred
  • Ten plus years experience in creative services and production roles-either at a creative agency or brand with a strong background in on-set production and post-production supervision
  • Five plus years managing department budget and resourcing creative teams
  • A solid understanding of digital media, e-commerce, and marketing; with experience working across multiple platforms including, print, digital, paid, retail, photo, and video
  • An ability and a desire to adapt to the changing landscape of technology
  • Extremely organized and efficient multi-tasker with an analytical and insightful attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and immediate turn arounds, retain a lot of information to a lot of moving parts, all while striving for excellence
  • Excellent communication skills and solution oriented
  • Enthusiastic team player with the flexibility to re-prioritize, multi-task and switch tasks fluidly to be flexible with demands and changes in business
  • English, additional language(s) an advantage
