The QA Automation Engineer will work closely with the QA Manager to build out our automation test suites across multiple applications, both externally and internally facing. You will mentor and coach other QA Engineers, and work with your peers to create scalable and performant test suites. You will coordinate with our DevOps team to add integration tests into our CD|CI pipelines. Together with the rest of your team, you will lead the way in realizing our vision of robust continuous delivery pipelines backed by state-of-the-art automated integration test suites.

  • Implementing and expanding our suite of automated testing and tools
  • Verifying and validating systems and features from the ground-up
  • Leveraging automation experience to ensure the highest quality of our products and test frameworks
  • Designing and implementing automation from scratch
  • Assisting with testing strategies, architecture design, and assessing the usability and continual improvement of our product to provide a remarkable user experience
  • Developing scalable, maintainable automation to ensure confidence in software releases
  • Identifying opportunities for automation within software processes to improve workflows and testing efficiency
  • Working with the product manager and utilize requirements documents to create test plans
  • Engaging in team meetings with engineering and product to stay informed on project status and automation needs
  • Contributing to maintaining and expanding QA-developed tools and services
  • Providing clear and detailed reports on test results, bugs, and potential systems enhancements
  • Fostering a culture where bugs and mistakes in Production are treated as opportunities to improve the platform

  • Five plus years of professional QA Automation experience
  • Expert in creating and implementing end-to-end test automation frameworks using page object model for Functional, integration, mobile and performance testing using Selenium WebDriver, Junit, Maven, RestAssured, Appium, BrowserStack etc. or similar tools
  • Expert in developing BDD scripts using Cucumber or similar tech and writing step definitions for behavior
  • Expert in Java, JavaScript or similar language.
  • Hands-on experience in testing Restful APIs using Postman and Rest Assured libraries.
  • Experience in load testing using Jmeter, AWS, GIT, CI/CD tools like Jenkins .
  • Collaborate with team's stakeholders, developers and other teams around the globe
  • An ambitious, creative, confident, self-motivated team player who possesses strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Articulating test plans and prioritizing them for automation.
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies.
  • Willingness to work at our Vernon, CA HQ on our 3 day/week hybrid schedule
